Grading
Throughout the years, we have moved tens of millions cubic yards of dirt, rock and lava from mass grading to finished lots. These projects range from hillside and golf course grading to complete blasting and crushing operations.

Public and Private Infrastructure and Improvements
We have extensive experience in the construction of both dry/wet utilities and street improvements. Specialty items include water reservoirs, booster stations, sewer lift stations and treatment plants, wells, and reverse osmosis water systems.

Home Construction
Throughout its history, Rutter has been an innovator in the home building industry. The Rutter Family built and successfully sold one of the first condominium complexes in the Los Angeles area as well as revolutionized the art of customization to the high-end market. From entry level homes to four-story wood framed construction or high-end custom homes, we maintain a long-established family tradition of building homes with the heart as well as the hand.

Golf Course Construction
Rutter has worked with top designers such as Rees Jones and Ted Robinson in the design and construction of both new and remodel courses. Most recently, we successfully assembled a team in the Hawaiian Islands to construct a championship golf course along Kona Coast which boasts six holes of golf along the oceanfront which was appropriately coined “the Pebble Beach of Hawaii.”
